Also, the beach in Bhayander is only half an hour away or a little more. It’s a good weekend activity for those who love beachside lifestyles. Multiple infra projects are happening here and once the metro line 9 comes here, it will be a great development for all of us. The only thing is that there is a little congestion and loads of vendors on the footpaths.

Mira Road has been an eye-opener for me, in terms of how a nice lifestyle can be possible near Mumbai, without spending a huge amount of money. Junctions to Thane or major junctions were usually narrow and jammed. Public transport within Mira Road wasn't necessarily regular or comfortable buses occasionally got stuck or packed. Then, some lifestyle essentials were absent, no fish market in the area, no 5 star eateries almost.

The good part about it is how balanced it is; we have all the city amenities, such as good hospitals and schools, but without the exorbitant cost of living in Mumbai proper. The connectivity is excellent with the railway station and the new metro line coming up, and so it is a highly promising investment. It also seems slightly more spacious here. Negatives: My biggest complaint, aside from the pollution is the supply of water. There is waterlogging during the monsoon and a slight pollution issue. More options for dining out and nice recreational areas would be nice, too.

Positives: I have lived on Mira Road for some time now, and it's a good location. The biggest advantage is the amount of greenery and parks. You don't find that around here in Mumbai. Negatives: I do wish the rooms were slightly larger. It is difficult with no metro, and in the rain, the drainage is not so great.

Malls and a crowded Sunday bazaar are all close to my residence, its reasonable prices. Negatives In the direction of Thane, roads become smaller, monsoon drains spill over. Also, there are very less 5-star hotels or local vet hospitals.

Negatives: Roads toward Thane are narrow and clog in peak hours, air pollution is a worry, and there are few high-end restaurants or five-star hotels nearby.

I also like the availability of good schools and hospitals, and the Sunday market in the locality is ideal for picking up low-cost items. Negatives: The thin roads can become very congested, and air pollution is an issue of concern. During the rainy season, the drainage system becomes weak, which can be unhealthy.
