I'm most worried about the intense waterlogging during monsoon season, and I hope the KMC would faster mend the potholes on the linking roads around Park Circus.

With great hospitals and schools only minutes away, it was definitely a cosmopolitan centre.
NegativeNegatives: Constant noise was my experience, particularly on weekends, and the suffocating traffic congestion never quit. Finding a parking place was always difficult, therefore increasing the tension on every trip. Immediate change is required in terms of traffic congestion and a serious lack of parking space.
Positives: Renting on Park Street appeals to me. Right in Central Kolkata, it's the ideal location. I chose this location for its incredible connectivity; the Metro stop is only a brief walk away. Being near to significant corporate centers and establishments like Park Plaza is ideal. Schools like St. Xavier's and hospitals like Nightingale are quite near. The place is premium, hence rental yields are great albeit it is a little pricey. Everything you require is right here.
NegativeNegatives: There are a few areas we could improve on. Finding parking is always a major bother, particularly at night; traffic congestion is the major aggravation. Additionally, the region experiences severe waterlogging under strong rainfall. Although generally we have excellent security, news stories of occurrences close to hotels remind us to always be alert of our surroundings, even here.
Believe me, you must be on Park Street! Because of its unmatchable centrality and identity as the premier lifestyle and business center of the city, I rate this 5-stars. Park Plaza is ideally positioned to serve the commercial center and offer great rental income. The MAA Flyover provides easy airport access; with the Park Street Metro Station, connectivity is perfect. Strong safety and great facilities including top hospitals and the Victoria Memorial gardens close by provide the region great pleasures. This is a costly, non-affordable location, though. Severe waterlogging during the rainy season and the obvious closeness of slums like Bibibagan, which occasionally lowers the exclusive character of the area, are the two primary problems.
Positives: Park Street's selection was based on energy and access. Being in the core of the city meant that every necessity was nearby, from St. Xavier's to big hospitals like Belle Vue Clinic. The cultural pulse and high security were what I appreciated the most. The devoted Park Street Metro station offered a smooth city link. Although it surely wasn't an inexpensive place, the lifestyle seemed worth the premium as it provided very comfortable living.
NegativeNegatives: The century-old drainage system often fought, which resulted in significant waterlogging during the strong monsoon rains. This had always been a great disruption. We also noticed road subsidence caused by aging sewer line leaks, which resulted in erratic, large-scale excavations and repair work.
Positives: Providing effortless trip with the Park Street Metro Station and quick access to the Maa Flyover for airport travel, we are right in Kolkata. With well-known restaurants like Peter Cat and Barbeque Nation characterizing the community, entertainment is literally right at our door. We also have excellent local hospitals and educational facilities. Therefore, every need is satisfied. The holiday lights here are absolutely amazing. Particularly with the central location, the area feels very safe and alive. The neighbourhood spirit is strong.
NegativeNegatives: During the extreme wet season, we experience terrible waterlogging and the internal roadways going towards Park. For drivers, circus still have potholes that present a real safety issue.
Bought my apartment in the middle of Kolkata, in a upscale neighbourhood. This region presents unmatched centrality, heritage charm, and lifestyle options all together. Having top-tier stores and restaurants right outside my door, along with metro access and major business centers close by, I feel I wisely invested. Returning to a nice home, I like having walking distance access to the finest culinary and cultural hotspots the city has to offer. Cleaner and smoother pedestrian pathways as well as better drainage in some elderly street portions are one area that has to be addressed. Still, I boldly advise this gorgeous premium location as a singular site to possess and reside. It is an amazing place.
Positives: Moving to Park Street, Kolkata, I discovered anything particularly unique in its historical charm and core attitude. Right in downtown Kolkata, the area provides great metro accessibility (stations such Park Street and Maidan) and major road connections spanning the city like chowringhee and AJC Bose. Going for supper at a traditional restaurant is my favourite aspect.
NegativeNegatives: Here I think two items would stand more good. Peak hours present difficult traffic and parking conditions, and some lanes continue to exhibit signs of water-logging during significant rainfall. I would still advise Park Street to anyone looking for a dynamic city life.
