Sector 56, Gurgaon Reviews

Positive

I very much enjoyed my short stay in Sector 56, Gurgaon; the area felt like a very secure and affluent neighborhood with strong nighttime police patrolling. Having the Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro Station right there was a game changer since it offered great access to major employment centres such Golf Course Road. With hospitals like Pratiksha Hospital nearby and many renowned institutions like Scottish High International assisting the neighborhood, access to basic necessities was simple. Living was quite easy with the fusion of nearby commercial centers and residential areas. The near proximity to several parks, which provides much-needed green area, was my favorite aspect. But frequently waterlogging during heavy rain resulted from the poor drainage system, which is something definitely needing attention by the municipal governments. I still strongly suggest it as a great, well-connected site.

As a renter, Sector 56 is such a lovely area to live. Certainly the fast metro station at Sector 55–56 is the greatest feature since it allows very quick and simple connection to Cyber City and other employment areas. Particularly with the visible police patrols at night, the neighbourhood feels quite secure, and I relish the abundance of green areas like Vivekananda Park for my evening strolls. Good schools and many hospitals like Kriti Hospital abound and are nearby, therefore making living here very easy and self-sufficient. The complete neighbourhood is highly recommended; it has a wonderful attitude. The drainage system, however, needs extensive enhancement since waterlogging during monsoon season causes major disturbance and traffic congestion.

Providing a great mix of affordability and premium lifestyle along the Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 56 is absolutely a top recommendation. A big benefit from the Sector 55–56 Rapid Metro Station, connectivity makes commutes to important job centers simple. Boasting great services including schools like Scottish High and hospitals like Marengo Asia, the neighborhood offers plenty of housing choices and excellent security with regular police patrol. Investment-wise, its closeness to corporate hubs guarantees dependable high rental revenues, especially for bigger homes. The only place needing urgent attention is the bad drainage system, which could result in little waterlogging during intense monsoons. This location promises a comfortable, secure, and excellent living environment overall.

Positive: Like Sector 55–56, we are right adjacent the Rapid Metro Station. Getting onto Golf Course Road or Southern Peripheral Road is quite simple. shortening my trip to work. Nearby, we have excellent schools like Scottish High. For a balanced life, there are many local markets, banks, parks, as well as several hospitals like Pratiksha. This area seems really secure as a result of the extensive night-time police patrols.

Negative

Negative: Still, a few big problems have to be addressed quickly. First is the inadequate drainage system. Even a little rain shower causes substantial waterlogging that disrupts traffic and makes strolling challenging. In particular during the summer months, the water supply is also unstable, which may be a significant difficulty for us.

Sector 56 is one of the best areas to stay in Gurgaon. There are several major roads running nearby, including the NH-48 and the Golf Course Road, which is arguably the poshest zone in the city. The rapid metro access is a key USP, while there are several institutions in the vicinity, including St. Xavier’s International, DPS, Fortis, W Pratiksha, etc. Various commercial hubs in Sohna Road are also easy to access from this neighbourhood. There are some issues in the locality, including traffic jams in the peak hours, waterlogging in the monsoons, and the increasing costs of living.

Sector 56 is a decent location to stay in Gurgaon. At the same time, you get the Golf Course Road running near the place, which is a major plus point. The NH-48 is also easy to access, while the Cyber City and many other commercial hubs are also close by. Sector 56 also has its own Rapid Metro station, which is another USP, and the HUDA City Centre (Yellow Line) metro is not that far away. Multiple schools and hospitals can be accessed within a reasonable distance as well.

Negative

I feel that the drainage system should be fixed by the civic authorities. Waterlogging is a major issue here.

Positive: Sector 56 turned out to be an ideal choice as it gave me a peaceful residential place right next to the Golf Course Extension Road, making it rather affordable. I liked the good connectivity especially the presence of a Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro station for short trips. Daily life was easy with the local HUDA market. Alpine Convent School, and Kriti Hospital in the vicinity.

Negative

Negative: The water supply was often quite erratic. At low pressure sometimes and for limited hours it became a real nuisance. Also, the internal roads were very badly neglected with broken surfaces and potholes making driving uncomfortable day in and day out.

Positives: I purchased my flat here and I loved the connectivity is great with Rapid Metro at the door step of Sector 55-56 station and straightforward connectivity to Golf Course Road. I also feel quite safe with heightened police patrolling in the night. My favorite aspect is having best hospitals like Kriti and Pratiksha in proximity, along with the markets and gardens making it a very lovable, practical, and affordable place to stay.

Negative

Negatives: The air quality is a big problem in this area, and it is rather worrying to my family's health. When it rains, there is always poor drainage leading to major waterlogging of the roads, resulting in horrible traffic and pandemonium.

Positives: The Rapid Metro Station just in the area, which reduces travel time to Cyber City to almost nil. We are located just beside Golf Course Road, and the fact that there is a high incidence of police patrolling at night ensures that I feel extremely safe. All amenities are within reach nearby such as schools, markets, and hospitals making it convenient.

Negative

Negatives: Drainage system is bad. Whenever it rains heavily, the region gets waterlogged. Traffic around the internal roads is awful. I am quite concerned about garbage dumping in a few pockets. Solid waste management requires serious attention from the civic authorities. Moreover, we still have occasional power cuts amidst the peak summer heat.

Sector 56 has been a good place to live in. I have been here for some months now, and being a bachelor, have had time to explore the area extensively. One of the first things I did was to visit the Kingdom of Dreams on a weekend. Trust me, it was an awesome experience, and so close by at that! Also, Omaxe Celebration is a mall that’s nearby, along with the Sector 54 Chowk Rapid metro, top schools, Galleria Market, and healthcare centers. This has filled up the vacuum in terms of social and civic infrastructure. The Golf Course Road being nearby is another plus point. The neighbourhood is developing fast, and the one thing that the authorities need to improve is the road conditions.

I am honestly very happy after investing in a property in Sector 56, Gurgaon. This offers me the flexibility to reach the Golf Course Road quickly, for all amenities and also my workplace. Sohna Road is nearby, NH-48 is nearby, and also the Rapid metro station at Sector 54 Chowk is accessible. What more can one want? I have got used to the smooth roadways here, and also so many leading schools, malls (like Omaxe Celebration), hospitals, and attractions like Galleria Market and Kingdom of Dreams are also nearby. One issue is the internal road conditions, which are not as well-maintained, but I am happy with my overall experience.

This locality is really special for being close to the Golf Course Extension Road and even having its own Rapid Metro Station, thus making daily commutes quick and convenient. As a resident, I personally feel this area to be extremely secure, given the presence of visible police patrolling late at night, and appreciate the direct proximity to large offices around. This area is ideal for working couples and families because of the presence of extremely well-rated schools and the general clean, green surroundings with beautiful parks. Apart from all the positives, I believe the biggest drawbacks I have to contend with are the weak water supply during the hot summers, leading to constant inconvenience, and the general poor maintenance of some of the interior roads with potholes and waterlogging during monsoons.

Positives: I am rooted in Sector 56 and I can say that it has prestige with convenience. It is on Golf Course Extension Road with Rapid Metro connectivity at Sector 55-56, which makes it easy to commute. Local shops, restaurants and schools are nearby. The area is safe and there are green pockets for evening strolls. Future value is added by ongoing projects and planned metro connections.

Negative

Negatives: I do observe three issues requiring remedial measures. Traffic and parking become confusing in rush hours which strains patience. Some roads develop wear and waterlogging during heavy rain. Poorly lit inner lanes at night are a few. Despite this I suggest Sector 56 due to its central location and lifestyle day in and day out here.

Sector 56 is one of the high-potential neighbourhoods in Gurgaon, and I’m so happy that I decided to stay here. In fact, there are several commercial spaces nearby, including my office, and this prompted me to shift here ultimately. Also, the luxurious Golf Course Road zone is just a stone’s throw away, which is a huge plus point. The Golf Course Extension Road and CRPF Road also pass through the surrounding zone. Cyber City and other workspaces are located within a proper radius, along with other necessary amenities.

Negative

Traffic congestion near the approach to the Golf Course Road and the entry road to Sector 56 are big problems.

I reside and market houses in Sector 56, and I prefer its strategic positioning close to the Golf Course Extension Road. The location provides ready access to Golf Course Road, NH48 and Sohna Road through nearby roads. Proximity to nearby business centers and Cyber City maintains rental demand stable, and developers are busy here. The connectivity will further enhance with the planned Pachgaon/Pachgaon metro corridor and Gurugram metro projects which enhance long term value. Green pockets and mini parks provide relief between high-rises. Prices are reasonable compared with luxury Golf Course Road pockets. My pick is Sector 56 for buyers who want central accessibility and investment potential. The two things that can be done better are perennial peak-hour congestion and improved drainage and road maintenance in some pockets.

I love how close we are to the prime Golf Course Road and the Golf Course Extension Road. There is also the CRPF Road running nearby, while the HUDA City Centre and Sector 56 Rapid Metro Stations are nearby. These are some of the biggest pros of living here, in my opinion. Also, I work in nearby Cyber City, while my spouse has a business on Sohna Road. So, you see, it suits us to invest in Sector 56, due to its highly strategic placement. Many hospitals and schools are nearby, along with the Raheja and Omaxe malls. While the place is more affordable than Golf Course Road, there are traffic bottlenecks that are the only challenge.

It has been great living in Sector 56, really making us happy owners for so many years. We have amazing connectivity with the Rapid Metro at our doorstep at the Sector 55-56 Station, along with convenient access to Golf Course Road, which is a huge advantage for work in Cyber City. The area is highly secure and even more so with the additional night police patrolling. We value the fairly competitive, relatively low home price here versus comparable places. We also look forward to the planned Pachgaon metro line, which ensures excellent future infrastructure, but I hope that better solid waste management in the area would be ensured to address the issue of rubbish dumping.

I had a decent experience while staying in Sector 56, before I ultimately shifted elsewhere in Gurgaon. See, the biggest plus point of staying here was the connectivity to several places via the Sector 55-56 metro station. The Golf Course and Extension Road were nearby, and I could easily access the Sohna Road and NH-48. IGI Airport was also accessible in just half an hour, while I used to work in Cyber City, which was also pretty accessible. My child was in DPS, again nearby, while the HUDA Market and other malls were also in the vicinity. Hospitals like Artemis and all were also well-connected to the place. Green spaces are also readily available in the locality, while there are multiple housing choices too.

Negative

In terms of improvements, I would like to mention the waterlogging issue and peak-hour traffic jams, along with some stray dog issues.

Positives: We leased an apartment in Sector 56 due to the connectivity of Rapid Metro. Sector 55-56 metro station has been a godsend for my daily journey along Golf Course Road. The HUDA market, good schools, and beautiful green parks nearby. It's centrally positioned to commercial areas, ideal for scope and business reach. The future Pachgaon metro line also offers future connectivity enhancements.

Negative

Negatives: We suffer a lot during the monsoons because the drainage system is poor and thus results in serious water-logging and massive traffic jams. Some of the inner roads are clearly damaged and need urgent pothole filling. Finally, the waste management system requires proper maintenance since local dumping is becoming a health concern for residents.

Positives: Becoming an owner in this Sector 56 has brought me real fulfillment. Easy travel with Rapid Metro at Sector 55-56 Station, making commuting along the Golf Course Road to other business hubs easy. There is very good security here with regular police checkups. Such as good schools like Scottish High International School and multi specialty medical care at Pratiksha Hospital nearby.

Negative

Negatives: The poor drainage system is a big problem, as it results in extreme waterlogging on the connecting roads during monsoon. We also often receive complaints of low water supply and power failure. Finally, an effective solid waste management system is a must to deal with the garbage dumping problem in the area.

Positives: I appreciated that Sector 56 was well connected. Rapid Metro's station at Sector 55-56 facilitated commuting. Golf Course, Southern Peripheral Road and Rajesh Pilot Road were close by. Hospitals and schools were nearby. Well maintained parks, markets such as the HUDA market around were available. Safety was acceptable and residential societies had good amenities.

Negative

Negatives: But some areas truly needed improvement. Most roads got water logged each rain. There were numerous potholes and broken pavements on internal roads and side streets. Water and electricity supply were haphazard in summer. Sanitation disposal was poor, garbage dumping and market sewers frequently overflowed. These need to be rectified for Sector 56 to truly shine.

Negative

Negatives: I actually believe that monsoon waterlogging at low-lying crossings usually holds me up, which is quite inconvenient. Sohna/Golf Course Road peak hour traffic is quite stressful. Negative

Negatives: But residing there was not without issues. I experienced irregular water supply and periodic billing problems, sluggish sewage and drainage work giving rise to bad smell in some areas, construction dust from incessant construction, and increasing property prices that escalated rents. Civic maintenance fell behind at times, even though it was an upscale sector. But I parted with fond memories of late evening strolls and friendly neighbours. Positives: When my husband and I purchased our apartment close to the Sector 56/57 rapid metro station, we were excited about the location, and we remain so! The sector is perfectly located, providing us with easy connectivity to Golf Course Road and the prominent commercial areas. The nearby markets and neighbourhood shops are lively, and safety in our residential society is of the highest order.

Negative

Negatives: But residing in this otherwise ideal neighbourhood comes with its own repeated woes. The neighbourhood Sector 56 market itself is frequently ignored, with ruined walkways and ongoing sanitation issues that authorities turn a blind eye to. This area is perfect for me, since I could find a relatively affordable apartment here. Now, the good part is that the development of the area is happening very quickly. Another plus point is that the Rapid Metro is easy to access in our neighbourhood. This saves me a lot of time commuting to my office space. Also, the HUDA City Centre is one major junction that you can reach in about 15-20 minutes on most days. Sector 56 offers a decent lifestyle, and I have been staying here for some months before I moved out for work. The good thing is that the area has a metro station, something which made me invest in an apartment here. The 55-56 rapid metro is the main lifeline for most people in the area. I’m sad that I had to change jobs and move out so soon, but I will retain my apartment here and hopefully move back soon! It was employed at the Cyberhub, and it was not very far from the place, while the Galleria Market was also well-connected to the area. If I have to add one thing, I will point out the waterlogging during the rainy season. Nowadays, the roads get submerged even after a short shower, so the municipality should clear the drains quickly.

Positives: Living in Sector 56 was definitely cozy, and the major thing I enjoyed was the great connectivity it offered. Having the Rapid Metro station close by made my travel down Golf Course Road to the offices very fast, and the entire area was very secure with effective police patrolling. The local bazaars and well-kept parks were wonderful for daily chores and night walks. Negatives: Still, I did have some persistent issues. The drainage system was not good, and waterlogging on connecting roads was a routine feature during monsoons, leading to huge traffic jams. Also, the absence of convenient public transport facilities beyond the Rapid Metro made traveling more difficult. Furthermore, the high property rates, whether for buying or for rent, were certainly a wallet pinch.

Positives: I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. It is very premium and relaxed. The positives are the good Metro connectivity through the Sector 55-56 station, and the internal colony road planning is well done. It is a secure area, and proximity to the Golf Course Extension Road means commuting to Cyber Hub is not too bad. It's a really peaceful residential location. Negatives: In spite of the tranquillity, it is certainly expensive to live here, with rents having a big dent in my finances. My four biggest issues are the heavy waterlogging in the monsoons, rendering some of the areas useless. Second, good street parking outside my gate is always difficult to find. Third, occasional power outages and the lack of really affordable local restaurants are consideration-denting disadvantages.

The area is well developed with multiple ready projects and good civic footprint. Negatives: Monsoon waterlogging and improper drainage affected areas of the sector, and a few stretches have potholes or short-term civic issues post-rains. For my family and me, having excellent schools and hospitals like Artemis at such proximity makes life simple. Negatives: I believe it is a high rating area and an excellent lifestyle. Positives: I've been living on rent here for the past two years or so, largely due to the accessibility; nothing beats the connectivity. The Rapid Metro Station Sector 55-56 is literally walking distance, and catching Golf Course Road for work is easy. The location feels very settled and safe, and the Sector 56 Huda Market is a lifesaver for everything ranging from instant street food to daily shopping. You have all the major hospitals such as Artemis and well-known schools nearby. Negatives: The rent is sure to be on the higher side than other industries, which takes a hit from the pocket as well. And when there is heavy rain, some of the inner roads close to the older colonies still experience minor waterlogging. And, as elsewhere in Gurgaon, the traffic during peak hours is a terror.

Negatives: The only negative I see is that some of the roads off the older neighbourhoods do get a little congested when everyone is going back and forth, but it's tolerable. It has been a nice living experience here.

Positives: I have noticed numerous people shifting to this place, and I have to say, Sector 56 is a great option. You're literally on the doorsteps of Golf Course Road, which is a big advantage for connectivity, and the Rapid Metro is right there, so commuting is easy. The area looks well-planned, and it's very nicely done with lots of parks, schools, and bazaars. It's a very inhabitable area that provides good value for your money. Negatives: While the site is excellent, the roads and some of the internal drainage get bumpy during heavy monsoon rains, which is a bit of a pain. Nevertheless, it's a minor compromise for what you have here.

Positives: The most convenient aspect of living here is how well networked everything is. I mean, the Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro station is literally just around the corner, and you're located right between Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road. The Huda Market is where you go for practically anything you require, ranging from everyday grocery shopping to street food. Additionally, there are enough good schools and hospitals around, which is a big relief. Negatives: But I don't like the drainage system here too much. Whenever it rains a lot, some parts of the place tend to be waterlogged, which is annoying. There are times when the supply of water is irregular during the hot summer months, and that's not good.

Positives: I have been living here for a while now, and I have to say, it's a really good option. The location is the best part. The Rapid Metro station is literally a stone's throw away. I also love that there's this local Huda market right here for my daily needs, and I have easy access to the larger shopping complexes and restaurants on Golf Course Road. All I require, ranging from hospitals to schools is within reach. It is a well-placed and secure locality. Negatives: The only thing that irks me slightly is the upkeep. The drainage system is not so good, so it does get a bit dirty on the roads after heavy rain. Otherwise, it's a highly comfortable place to reside.

Positives: I have been residing in Sector 56 for some time now, and it is quite a good place. Connectivity is excellent with the metro right next to me and all major roads like Golf Course Road. It is safe and has whatever I require, such as markets, hospitals, and decent restaurants. Negatives: The drainage is a big issue here. The roads get waterlogged every time it rains, and it disrupts the traffic. We also experience poor water and electricity supply at times, particularly during the summer.

Positives: It is located near Golf Course Road and Rapid Metro (Sector 55-56), shopping malls such as Ardee and Gold Souk, and office spaces like Orchid Centre and Baani Address One. Schools, hospitals and airports are well within reach. Negatives: Roads are waterlogged in the rain, drainage and dumping of wastes are issues. The crowded buses/metro during rush hours are disappointing.

Positives: I love how accessible Sector 56 is. The metro is nearby, and underpasses facilitate easy access to the airport. It is also a very secure place and has lots of cheap residential property. My family love this locality. Negatives: The roads tend to be congested and waterlog when it rains. We also have a problem with erratic supply of water and electricity.

Sector 56 is good in terms of connectivity, shopping comfort & food options. But the maintenance n management is not good. Electricity n water supply is a big issue especially during summer. Sewage is not properly managed. Streets have multiple pot holes & telecom operator companies & Lpg conection companies used to dig the streets but they do not build the roads they just fill them with soil.

A growing residential neighbourhood called Sector 56 is located close to the Ballabhgarh railway station in the southern section of the Faridabad district. This area is relatively close to the Mathura highway, which provides an excellent connection to the entire NCR region. Sector 56 would be traversed by the proposed Gurgaon Faridabad metro line, which will also stop here. Currently, affordable residential and commercial plots are accessible in the neighbourhood, as well as independently priced residences. The distance between the neighbourhood and the bus stop and Ballabhgarh railway station is two kilometres which is a lit bit far from my house.

Gurgaon's Sector 56 is a desirable neighborhood with excellent access to Sohna Road, Golf Course Road, and other parts of the city. It also offers several local Huda marketplaces where you can get all of your daily necessities, low traffic, and a safe atmosphere. It is a good neighborhood that is conveniently located 15 minutes by car from the HUDA city metro station on the NH 8 linking Delhi and far from Indira Gandhi International Airport.

I am happily living in Sector 56. Having a wide range of business opportunities, including many restaurants, shops, and boutiques. It is quite well connected to all potential. Between Sectors 55 and 57, Sector 56 has a large number of international-standard schools. The More Market is well-known. Additionally, it has good access to markets, gas stations (both gasoline and CNG), hospitals, restaurants, banks, the metro, offices of MNCs, shopping centers, local markets, grocery stores, and other conveniences.

Sector 56 is a lovely neighborhood. The Sector is close to Golf Course Road, which includes several malls and stores that can meet practically any requirement. The route leading to Gold Souk Chowk passes via local marketplaces with easy access to fresh produce markets, markets selling fresh goods, and locations for parts and repairing cars.
