Sancoale is an evaluation town in South Goa region in the Indian territory of Goa. This town once housed the Hindu Saraswat Brahmin divinities Lakshmi Narasimha, Shantadurga Shankhvaleshwai and Vijayadurga. Around 1560, the divinities were moved to Veling and Kerim (Ponda) amid the Portuguese inquisition.The primary fascination of this town is St. Joseph vaz church. The town now is a home of numerous Christians and Hindus. Starting at 2011 Indian enumeration, Sancoale had a populace of 21,923. Males constitute 53% of the populace and females 47%. Sancoale has a normal education rate of 86.61% lower than state normal of 88.70%. Male education rate is 91.54%, and female proficiency rate is 80.93%.
