It was originally called as Azim Bagh and was constructed by the Mughals in the 16th century. It occupies 90 acres and is located along the Grand Trunk Road during that time period. Today, Sunder Nursery is home to fifteen historic buildings, six of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
