I have been staying in for six months in Kannur. It is located in East Bangalore tehsil of Bangalore. From my experience, Kannur is the best option away from the hustle-bustle of the central city. Yeshwanthpur Railway Station takes half an hour's ride from Kannur on days of moderate traffic. It is situated near a railway station and national highway, making it an easy corridor to reach other major cities of Karnataka.
